Balzac uses Webflow API Token to improve security and make it easy to connect with your website. ​ This article covers how to generate and use Webflow API Tokens to authenticate your website in Balzac AI.

Navigate to Apps &amp; Integrations

Scroll down to the API access section and click on the "Generate API token" button

1. Assets: Read and Write
2. CMS: Read and Write
3. Sites: Read

Click on  the "Generate API token" button

Copy your API Token and paste it directly into Balzac. Please note that you'll not be able to copy this key after you close the pop-up.

1. Open the site settings
2. Navigate to Apps &amp; Integrations
3. Scroll down to the API access section and click on the "Generate API token" button
4. Give a name to the token
5. Make sure to enable these permissions:
 1. Assets: Read and Write
 2. CMS: Read and Write
 3. Sites: Read
6. Click on the "Generate API token" button
7. Copy your API Token and paste it directly into Balzac. Please note that you'll not be able to copy this key after you close the pop-up.
